How to Submit New Photos
You Want to Submit New Photos, But How?
You’ve just finished installing a stunning garage door for a customer, and you want it showcased on your website! How do you go about that? Is there a certain way you should send the photos to us?
The good news is that there are three different ways you can send us your amazing photos!
Option #1: Give Us Access to Your Dispatch Software
This is the easiest option for you! If your company utilizes a dispatch software, such as Housecall Pro or Jobber, you can simply share access with us! You can either give us your login credentials or you can create an account for us (that way, you can limit what we can see if you’re uncomfortable with sharing everything).
All you’d have to do is give us access one time, and then you never have to worry about it again! We’ll regularly check for new photos that are attached to jobs and add them to your website.
An added bonus is that we’ll have extra information about the models you’re using!
Option #2: Send Your Pictures in an Email to Your Account Manager
Another option, especially if you don’t have a dispatch software, is to simply email any pictures you have to your account manager. Your account manager will alert the team and pass the pictures on so they can be added to your website.
This is an easy option for everyone and is pretty straightforward. You can even send a .zip file of an entire job if you want to!
Option #3: Drop Your Photos into Your Google Drive
The final option is to drop any new photos into your personal Google Drive. Whenever we receive a picture from you, this is where we’ll put it anyway! Your Google Drive contains all of your pictures and videos, so we can add them to your website!
Not sure how to access your Google Drive? Your account manager should have sent you a link to your drive when you first signed on. If you can’t find it, just shoot us an email, and we’ll get it over to you!
Here’s how you can add a photo to the drive:
- Make sure the images you want to add are downloaded onto your computer.
- Access your Google Drive link. The file should say “photos” or something similar.
- Click “+ New” in the upper left-hand corner.
- Click “File upload.”
- Select which pictures you would like to add.
- Hit “Add” or “Open.”
That’s it! Alternatively, you can simply drag and drop images into the drive as well.
*Note: We will check your Google Drive periodically for new photos, but we are not alerted when they get added. If you want something on your site quickly, be sure to notify your account manager that you uploaded some images!
